And another Bang and Olufsen brought back from the dead. The motor bearings were frozen with decades old oil. Once the motor was disassembled, cleaned, and fresh oil in the bearings it was back spinning. I like this early Beogram 3000 as it is more mechanical than electronic. It also utilizes a somewhat unique idler wheel and belt combo to drive the platter. Plus, the SP-12 cartridge can be rebuild for far less than the other B&O carts.
